Green ProductsTop PicksThis is a comprehensive, easy-to use and very popular web site to help all of us find more "green" options. At the site we are told that, "all Green Home products have qualities that promote environmental health or resource conservation." The site goes on to say that "Green Home's rating system is based on three criteria: Personal (relating to the product's health effect on the user), Environmental (relating to larger environmental impact and life cycle assessment) and Social (relating to the company's policies and practices)." This site is, again, well organized for ease of use and offers guidelines for purchase of green products. This site, "shows people how to make small changes that add up to big benefits for their wallets, for their health and, of course, for the health of the planet." The site was "acquired by National Geographic in March of 2007 as part of their commitment to inform and inspire people to care about the planet."
This site (and there is a book by the same name) is changing how women spend household budget monies. Discover the changes as women do most of the household spending and are more sympathic to environmental issues.
